Dear Local B-4 Member,
In 2014 too many anti-union candidates were elected to all levels of government across our country, some by a small margin of votes. And we have been fighting some of them in the MA State House for 2 years.
If we are to survive as a healthy local, we must have elected officials who will fight for policies that are good for all members of Local B-4. To do that, it is critical that every Sister & Brother is registered to vote in time for the General Election on Tuesday November 8, and exercises their right to vote. Only 44% of MA eligible voters showed up on Election Day in 2014. We have to do much better this November 8!
If you are not sure if you are registered to vote, go to www.canivote.org and find out - it is a quick and easy way to find out if you are registered to vote. You might be surprised how many members think they are registered to vote, but are not, so check it out today.
It’s easy to register on-line in MA – just go to www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr I urge you to please register to vote or check your voter registration status ASAP, even if you are sure you are registered.
