It is will great sadness I inform your of the passing of Veronica "Sis" Murray a long time and faithful member of our Wang family.

MURRAY, Veronica P. "Sis" (Beggan)

A lifelong resident of South Boston, passed away at home on February 4, 2016. Beloved wife, of 68 years, to the late Harold J. "Hank" Murray.  Devoted mother of Susan Mara, her husband Ted of Arlington, Ann Marie Donohue, her husband Rick of Weymouth, and Karen Lee Murray of South Boston. Loving grandmother of Richard Barnes, Keri, Ryan and Evan Donohue, Kate, Steven, Brendan and Daniel Hamm. Great grandmother of Kaylin, Jordyn, Richie, Jaxson, Rohan, Emily and Mila. Sis was the loving daughter of the late Rose Ann (Curtis) and Patrick J. Beggan and sister of the late Edward, William, Joseph, Thomas and Robert Beggan. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visiting hours in the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Sunday from 12-4PM. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East Fourth St., South Boston, Monday at 11:00AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend all services. Late retired and first president of the Boston Police Traffic Supervisors Assoc. and longtime member and Shop Steward of Local B4 IATSE, Wang Theater. Sis remained very active within her parish and community and was a former member of the Castle Island Association.
