It is will great sadness I inform you of the loss of long time Local 11 member Paul A. Higgins (10/01/1937-06/18/2013) of South Boston, Massachusetts. Father of Paul J. of So. Boston, Mary L. (Higgins) Morgan & her husband Joseph H. of Weymouth, Phillip A. & his fiancée Jennifer Rae of So. Boston, Michelle of Boston, Michael J. & his fiancée Jami Sharp of So. Boston. Grandfather of Devin, Lacey L., Emma R. and Cullen P. Late husband of Alice “Louise” (O’Malley) Higgins. Son of the late Lawrence J. & Virginia L. (MacInnis) Higgins, brother of Virginia Lewis, Robert, Charles, Barbara (Higgins) Mooney, Sheila (Higgins) Ciampi-Smith & the late Mary, Lawrence, George, James & Thomas. Retired member of the International Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees Union (I.A.T.S.E.) & USMC.

Visiting hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston on Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Mass will at the Saint Margaret Church in the Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish on Saturday (time to be determined) followed by interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery. All are welcome.

Sister Mary Higgins Morgan and Sister Michelle Higgins were Local B4 ushers for many years and are now with Local 11.
