TO: IATSE Host Locals for International’s GEB and Convention in Boston.

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

The Boston area IATSE Locals have had a number of meetings and planning sessions for the upcoming convention. We have met with International Secretary Treasurer Wood and IATSE West Coast Office Manager Buffy Snyder who has been designated by the International as our sole contact for the Summer GEB and the Convention.

I have been elected Chairman of the Host Local Committee and ask that you or a representative of your Local attend the next meeting of the Committee on Monday, March 11 at noon at the offices of IATSE Local 11. We will make arrangements for a teleconference call for those locals who can’t attend. Please provide me with the name and information of your Local’s member who I can contact and update.

I hope to submit a preliminary budget for your perusal prior to our meeting on March 11.
