JFK/UMass – Braintree
May 12, 8:45 PM until end of service
Shuttle buses will replace service between JFK/UMass and Braintree on Friday, May 12 from 8:45 PM until end of service.* This diversion will allow for work toward eliminating the slow zones on the Red Line.
Riders can use the Commuter Rail with their CharlieCard or CharlieTicket for alternative service.
*Regular train service will run Monday, May 15 through Thursday, May 18.

Broadway – Ashmont, Broadway – Braintree
May 13 – 14, all day, both days
May 20 – 21, all day, both days
Shuttle buses will replace Red Line service between Broadway and Ashmont and Broadway and Braintree the weekends of May 13 – 14 and May 20 – 21. This diversion will allow for work toward eliminating the slow zones on the Red Line.

Orange Line

Haymarket
May 13 – 14, all day, both days
May 20 – 21, all day, both days
The Orange Line will bypass Haymarket station in both directions the weekends of May 13 – 14 and May 20 – 21 to allow for work on a private demolition project at the Government Center Garage.

Green Line

North Station – Government Center
May 13 – 14, all day, both days
May 20 – 21, all day, both days
Green Line service will be suspended between North Station and Government Center the weekends of May 13 – 14 and May 20 – 21 to allow for work on a private demolition project at the Government Center Garage. Green Line riders can use the Orange Line to access North Station via the Winter Street Concourse from Park Street to Downtown Crossing.
An accessible shuttle is available upon request for customers with disabilities – please see station personnel or use a station call box to request.

Commuter Rail

Rockport – West Gloucester
April 22 – May 14, all day, every day
Shuttle buses will replace service between Rockport and West Gloucester from Saturday, April 22 through Sunday, May 14 to allow for work on the tracks and Gloucester drawbridge.

South Station – Braintree
May 12, 7:30 PM outbound, 6 PM inbound until end of service
Express buses will replace service between South Station and Braintree on the Middleborough, Kingston and Greenbush lines on Friday, May 12. Buses will run from 7:30 PM outbound from South Station and 6 PM inbound from Braintree. This diversion will allow for Red Line track work toward eliminating slow zones.
As an alternative, riders can use the Red Line and/or the shuttle bus that will service all stops between JFK/UMass and Braintree.

South Station – Braintree
May 13 – 14, all day, both days
May 20 – 21, all day, both days
Express buses will replace service between South Station and Braintree on the Middleborough, Kingston and Greenbush lines the weekends of May 13 – 14 and May 20 – 21. This diversion will allow for Red Line track work toward eliminating slow zones.
Riders can also use the Red Line inbound to Broadway and/or the shuttle bus that will service all stops between Broadway and Braintree.
